ERC404 is a new, experimental smart contract token standard. It has elements of normal ERC20 tokens and ERC721 NFTs. When you buy a token, if your balance is greater than 1 it automagically mints you an NFT. When you sell and your balance goes below 1, it automagically burns your NFT. This allows NFTs to plug into things like Uniswap V3 Pools.
